The spa

(I've got to wrap up this canoe trip story, my boss is going to get on my case as this blog falls behind the latest blog-crazes for Wii and pantsless chainsmoking.)

Then, we drove to the spa. You are not supposed to take pictures of the inside of the spa, but I sneaked this one (above). I love the spa so much. I love to sit in the hot tubs. When I do this, I become very, very happy and am filled with love for humanity. Which is kind of ironic, given the spa's viking theme.

Wow, I thought you'd never make it out of the wilderness and back to civilization! I'm also quite proud that you managed a couple of super top secret photos inside of the spa...but after braving beaver infested waters, prehistoric mosquito swarms and dreary rain you become bad-ass enough to take pictures wherever you want.

A little known fact about Vikings. They were very friendly, happy people. Until around 800AD when a neighboring band came and stole their hottubs and massage-tables.

VGirl brings up a particularly good point... what procedures are in place at this spa to prevent Beaver Fever?

Yeah, I got to agree with Tom. I think the Vikings were a noble people, to which we actually owe a great debt of gratitude as they also encouraged trade in an otherwise economy-less atmosphere of Europe in the Dark Ages. Lets not hate on the Vikings.

But in other news, hurrah spa! So much better than camping. I propose we take an oath never to go camping again and only go to the spa! Who's with me?!
