I believe you should put quotes around the word "tree".Also, you should spritz it down with water a couple times a day. Ideally, you'd also want to put warm water in a pan at its base. Otherwise your xmas tree will shed needles like a mofo.
You are right. We actually call it "Christmas branch."
This isn't the "tree" you cut down in the woods by yourself, is it?
