Scary moment

A few moments ago, I checked on the NYT front page online. The main picture is of Joe Biden wiping away tears during a speech. I saw it and immediately recognized the iconography we've all become so familiar with--a tearful guy in a suit, the American flag in the background--and my brain went: "Crap--sex scandal! It's all over!"

But no. He was just tearing up about Delaware. Whew!

What do you guys think of Biden as VP pick anyway?

It makes my brain do a mystified noise like Scooby Doo--"Arrff??"

I guess I like him, right?

He's a straight-shooting, wise-acre with an axe-to-grind in Washington. He wont take no guff from nobody.

Or maybe he's just an old white guy in a suit. Cause that's really all I know about him.

I really think Obama could have done better. But since the rules say you have to choose from living mortals, I guess Biden's a decent choice.

biden's a safe choice. not so good on abortion, but supported the voilence against women act. doesn't like gay marriage, but says civil unions are ok.

I don't think veeps matter anyway. you don't make your decision on who's running for VP. remember dan quayle?
