Stumbling toward the finish line!

I received this in an email!

Thank you for submitting your ETD. When reviewing your work, we learned that the following formatting problems must be corrected before you resubmit your ETD:

Add title page and abstract to ETD
Add preliminary pages to table of contents and renumber
Add c.v. to table of contents (last entry)

To complete the process, you will need to log in...


Wow, all I have to do is (see above)! Diss creature is stumbling toward the finish line--crawling in an ill-advised zig zag toward the finish line--or is it slouching toward the finish line aaaahhh!

I prefer to look at this from an evolutional standpoint.

After spending countless eons swimming in the dark, dank miasma of graduate school, Diss creature finally slithers up onto land, breathing through its slitted gills the first air of professional historical publication.

Not quite adapted for this harsh new environment, Diss creature must struggle to survive. Fortunately, it's path to viability is watched over by a benevolent being. A being with unfathomably great power and, unfortunately for Diss creature, a short attention span.

Will Diss creature thrive in this new setting? Only time will tell!
