In this story about a woman who goes to a lesbo bar that I was reading was this sentence that was like (in German), "I stepped onto the curbside and ______ed a taxi."
I looked up the verb I didn't know ("_____ed a taxi") in the dictionary. The first result was "pec-waving or pec-slapping (of a humpback whale)."

Well of course. Haven't you ever peck-waved down a taxi? I do it all the time.
But sometimes they wont stop. Even if you're standing on your head wiggling your feet all over the place. I mean, how rude is that?

Peck slapping you say? Hmmm...is that how lesbos do it in Germany? If I were you I'd just wave my arm...though sometimes that doesn't even help. I shall miss you at the exam celebration party tonight.
I don't understand. Is that like the lesbian version of those "A Guy Walks Into A Bar" jokes? Because then I won't mind not understanding.
