Gendered borders, gendered citrus fruit

The U.S. won't let you bring citrus fruit across the border into the U.S. from Canada or anywhere else. Canoe counselor tries to break this rule as much as possible. This tangerine was purchased in Highland Park, went to Montreal,

came back across the U.S. border (illegal), then for good measure flew to Berlin (legality unclear) where today, it joined the happy compost bin because it was moldy.

Hmmm... nasty. What an odd reason to carry a rotten orange around.

Yeah, too bad we don't have a Roomba to clean up after the rotten orange.

Does that make her a smuggler? Is there a reward for her capture?

No!
