Look, NOW has set up this e-mail form to send angry e-mail to the people responsible for Imus's show encouraging them to fire him. Yay!
I must say I'm really horrified by what he said and by the fact that they only suspended him for 2 weeks! Let's hope they'll give in and fire him if we all keep the pressure on. I can't make it to the rally tomorrow but I support you guys who are going.

If you haven't, you should watch the actual video of Imus' show.
Even putting aside the racist/sexist comments, it's hard to imagine how Imus has stayed on the air for so long. Judging from level of discourse, they should have canceled this show 10 years ago. Your average college radio show has more coherent dialog than that.
He's like a racist misogynist zombie! Hmm, come to think of it, maybe that's his angle.

the NY times is reporting that CBS is dropping Imus' morning show. Looks like apologizing to the Rutgers basketball team was not enough to save him. $5 says he'll be replaced by a younger, crasser white man.
